1. Remove the firing pin screw at the rear of the cocking piece.

2. Remove the bolt head from the bolt body by turning in an anti-clockwise direction.

3. Insert the firing pin removal tool into the bolt body. Apply gentle pressure and turn the tool until the lugs of the tool engage the recesses of the firing pin. Grip the bolt handle and cup the cocking piece with your hand (the firing pin spring is held under pressure by the firing pin and cocking piece and both are likely to become projectiles if not held). Remove the firing pin by turning the tool in an anti-clockwise direction.
