Bomb (Blue).

The blue bomb was authorised for wear by members of Trench Mortar units. Within the Australian Imperial Force the wearing of the badge was at the Commanding Officer's discretion. As a result some Australian Trench Mortar units did not wear this badge.

These badges have been copied from an original and are made of thread embroidered to a khaki wool backing.
