'MG' in Wreath.

The First Class Machine Gunner's badge was awarded to Machine Gunners who were classified as 1st Class during examination. This class was higher than that expected of Machine Gunners. The badge was awarded to all members of the machine gun team. It was worn on the left forearm.

These badges have been copied from an original and are made of thread embroidered to a khaki wool backing.
