The British Army cavalry officer's sword has an acid etched, stainless steel blade in nickel plated fittings. The guard is nickel plated steel and has a chiselled foliage design. The pommel has an intricate chiselled design and the grip is twisted silver wire bound, black fishskin. The acid etching has a foliage design and the royal cypher. The scabbard is wood, covered by black leather with a nickel plated steel mouth.
