These swords have been assembled using original British blades from the 1920s and current MOD fittings made by Windlass Steelcrafts. The steel guard and scabbard have been painted green. The grips are a hard rubber.
Windlass Steelcraft's relationship with the British Ministry of Defence first began in 1943 when their first facilities were opened to manufacture kukri knives for the British army. This relationship continues to this day and Windlass are now the only approved manufacturer of kukris for the British military.
