Customers are welcome to either purchase or lay-by any of the items on our website.
Orders and lay-bys can be made by phone, fax, mail, email or through our website.
Placing a Lay-By
To lay-by an item simply click on the 'Lay-By' button on any product page. You can change the quantity of any item in the shopping cart by simply changing the value and updating the cart. If you wish to remove an item from the cart change the value to zero and update the cart. Once you have added all the items you require simply click on 'Checkout' on the right menu.
Please remember to complete all details on the order form. While we endeavor to process all orders as quickly as possible, delay can result if order forms are incomplete.
Payments
Orders placed online are stored by Americart. Americart is one of the internet’s most robust and well-tested shopping carts, and has provided secure, reliable and economical shopping cart services to thousands of merchants since 1996. Americart uses Secure Socket Layer encryption for sensitive credit card information. The Americart servers are tested daily by ScanAlert for security vulnerabilities.
All lay-bys require a 10% deposit. If you nominate to pay by credit card this will be charged to your card once all items have been packed. A receipt for your deposit will be sent to you by post.
Payment can also be made by cheque or money order (drawn in Australian dollars), PaylPal or direct deposit.
Payments cannot be automatically charged at a regular period. To make a payment by credit card please notify us the amount you wish to pay by telephone, fax, mail or email. Your card will be charged the requested amount and the credit card receipt posted to you. Payments by cheque or money order can be posted to the store. Please make sure that you include a short note with your name and the lay-by page number written on your receipt.
When paying by PayPal please make note of the the lay-by page number on your recipt.
When paying by direct deposit please notify us of the amount deposited, the date of the deposit, and your name and lay-by page number written on your receipt.
Duration
We prefer that lay-bys are completed within three months of the initial deposit. If however, you require more time to complete the lay-by please let us know and we will be happy to allow you an extension.
Cancellation
You can cancel your lay-by at any time. Lay-bys cancelled within three months of the initial deposit will be refunded the full amount deposited on the lay-by. Lay-bys cancelled after three months will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total price.
If after six months the lay-by remains unpaid, and we have not been notified of a wish to extend the lay-by, the lay-by will be cancelled and the amount already paid, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total price, refunded.
