Shipping

Due to the large range of widely varying products we offer we regret that we are unable to quote shipping costs at the time of order. We strive to respond to all orders within 24 hours of receipt and will provide a quote for shipping at this time. We charge for the cost of shipping and any packaging material required only. We do not charge a handling fee.

Within Australia

We generally send parcels within Australia, depending on their size, weight and the articles contained within, by either Australia Post or TNT Couriers. We are happy to use either service to send your parcel and you are most welcome to nominate either when you order. If you do not nominate a service we will send your parcel by the most expedient method.

Express Post

We send most parcels being delivered within Australia by Express Post satchels. The majority of parcels we send will fit into one of these satchels and we find delivery by this method to be safe, prompt and reliable. Delivery usually takes one to two days although delivery to remote areas will take longer.

Express Post
500g $9.00
3Kg $12.00
3Kg (Large) $14.00
5Kg (Large) $20.00

Parcels that are too large for an Express Post satchel are normally sent by Standard Post. These parcels however, can also be sent by TNT Couriers or by Registered Post. We are happy to send any parcel by the customers preferred method.

TNT Couriers

Firearms and dangerous goods (including ammunition) can only be sent by TNT Couriers. Firearms can only be sent to a club armourer, firearm's dealer or, where applicable, police station. Ammunition can be sent to the address of any firearms licence holder. We will require a copy of the firearms licence of the person to whom the ammunition is to be delivered before sending. This copy can be faxed, emailed or mailed to the store.

International

We regularly ship parcels overseas and have delivered to all continents of the world. International parcels are normally sent using Australia Post Air Mail however, we can also have them delivered by Express Post International which is quicker than standard Air Mail and is trackable. We can also obtain quotes for you to have your parcel shipped by TNT, DHL, UPS or any other carrier. In the past however, we have found other carriers to be far more expensive than Australia Post with no obvious advantages.

Air Mail

We generally send international parcels by Australia Post Air Mail. Delivery by this method to the majority of countries takes no more than two weeks. The cost of this service will, of course, vary with the weight of the parcel and these costs are shown in the table below. These costs do not include the price for any additional packaging material which may be necessary. Packaging costs are however, generally minimal.

Air Mail
New Zealand Asia US and Canada Rest of World
250g $7.60 $8.85 $10.05 $11.95
500g $11.60 $14.10 $16.50 $20.30
1Kg $19.60 $24.60 $29.40 $37.00
1.5Kg $27.60 $35.10 $42.30 $53.70
2Kg $35.60 $45.60 $55.20 $70.40

Express Post Interantional

Parcels weighing over 2kg are normally sent by Express Post International. This service is quicker than standard Air Mail and the parcel is able to be tracked. For weights greater than 2kg this service is nominally more expensive than standard air. There is a minimum weight charge of 2Kg when using Express Post International and parcels weighing less than 2Kg are charged the 2Kg rate. The cost of this service will increase as the weight of the parcel increases.

2Kg $41.10 $51.10 $60.70 $75.90

Firearms, Firearm Parts and Ammunition

We regret that due to Australian Custom's legislation we are no longer able to send firearms, firearm parts, or ammunition overseas. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Restricted Items

Laws regarding restricted and prohibited articles will vary from country to country. Some items we sell at this store may be prohibited in your country and others may require a permit to import. If you are in any doubt as to the legality of an item in your country we strongly advise you to check with your local customs before ordering. We can accept no responsibility for parcels confiscated by customs.

Customs Taxes and Duties

Many countries will charge taxes and duties on imported goods. These charges may or may not be applicable depending upon the value of the goods being imported. Customers should check with their local customs to see if they will be subject to any charges when importing goods. By law we cannot place a lower value on goods being exported.

Lost Parcels

Since 1993 we have lost fewer than five parcels with Australia Post. While rare, we do understand that parcels can be lost in transit. Although we have no control over this, we believe our responsibility for your parcel ends only once it has been delivered. All parcels are insured under this company's transit insurance. Should a parcel not be delivered within the normal delivery time please notify us immediately. We will lodge a complaint with Australia Post who will then attempt to locate the missing parcel (this may take up to two weeks). If Australia Post are unable to locate the missing parcel the goods will be replaced, packed and sent at no additional cost to you.
