The German K98 sling used a unique method of attachment. It was held by a bar on the front barrel band, the sling being turned on itself and passing through a buckle. On the butt of the rifle the sling was passed through a hole in the stock, a leather keeper affixed by a stud holding the end of the sling secure.

These reproduction slings are made of good quality leather with blued steel fittings.
