Introduced during the First World War rifle bags were designed to protect the rifle during transport to the front line.

These reproduction rifle bags are made of a heavy canvas. The pocket and the flap are reinforced by leather. Both the flap and pocket are closed by a leather strap and brass buckle. They will fit SMLE, Pattern 14 and No.4 rifles.
