The Beretta Model 70 was introduced in 1958 and replaced the earlier Model 948. While it retained the typical Beretta shape it was streamlined and had a cross bolt safety, a hold open device and a push button magazine release.

Externally this pistol shows some wear. The blueing is worn in minor areas and the plastic grips have some marks. The pistol does not appear to have seen a great deal of use however, and the barrel shows very minor wear only.
