In 1959 the US Department of Defense recruited Alpha Industies to redesign its military jacket. Alpha reengineered outdated designs making garments which were warmer, more comfortable and durable. Since the mid-1960’s Alpha has continuously manufactured the M-65 Field Jacket, and have produced virtually every MA-1 Flight Jacket used by US Air Force, Army and Navy pilots.
