East German Air Force General's Parade Cap

This Air Force General's parade cap is made of the standard grey material used for all officer's caps. Like all Air Force officer's caps it has light blue piping around the crown and a light blue hat band. It is distinguished from other Air Force officer's caps by gold hat cords instead of the standard silver and gold badges on a wool backing.

Although East German uniforms and equipment were relatively common in the 1990s in recent years they have been becoming rarer. General's uniforms have never been particularly common however, and this cap is an oustanding collectors piece.
