Hall's Arkansas Bench Stone

Hall's Arkansas Oilstones, Inc. is the oldest family owned manufacturer of Arkansas stones. It has been one of the major suppliers of sharpening stones for some of the largest knife makers of pocket knives, hunting knives, kitchen knives, knife sharpeners, and tool sharpening devices. The Arkansas sharpening stone is the best honing stone on the market for sharpening all your knives. Hall's is the only Arkansas sharpening stone company that can say that the majority of their stones are quarried on government land and that they are government controlled.

Hall's uses 100% natural Arkansas stones mined from the Novaculite quarries located in the National Ouachita Forest. Stones are carefully cut to size and skillfully finished to ensure flatness. These bench stones measure 6" x 2" x 1". All come with a custom wooden case for storage.

Soft Arkansas is the most popular of the four grades of Novaculite. It is an all-purpose stone used to produce keen polished edges on knives and tools in a minimum of time.

Hard Arkansas is most suitable for fine polishing and the maintenance of a fine edge on knives and tools.

Surgical Black Arkansas is one of the finest grades of abrasive available today. Most commonly used for industrial applications where an extremely fine polish is required.

Translucent Arkansas is the finest grade of abrasive available today. Most commonly used for industrial applications (such as the dental industry) where an extremely fine polish is required.
