The Rock Creek Bison and Grizzly Bowies feature forged blades in HWS-1K steel, with an edge hardness of 58-60HRc and excellent corrosion resistance and edge- holding capability. The handles are genuine Sambar stag, with stainless steel guards and butt plates, the latter indi- vidually sculpted to match the stag texture. The through- tangs are very substantial, terminating in a short thread at the butt. The sheaths are crafted in bark-tanned leather with steel reinforcing and mil-spec snap fasteners.
