This knife was adopted recently by the British Army to replace the earlier model of jungle survival knife. Apart from the fibre handles it is almost indistinguishable from its predecessor. The heavy blade can be used for a variety of purposes, including both small cutting tasks and fairly heavy chopping. The wood handle is affixed by three large copper rivets and is extremely robust. The knife comes in the standard military issue leather sheath.
