This styke of kukri is used for animal sacrifices at religious festivals in Nepal. It is made of a tempered 1095 high carbon steel and the blade can be sharpened to a very fine edge. It features the traditional religous notch and has a single fuller. The polished, native hardwood handle is reinforced by a steel bolster and pommel. The traditional wood scabbard is covered with leather.
