The Vikings spread throughout Europe, raiding, trading, and establishing colonies from Ireland to Russia. Their descendants, the Normans, conquered Sicily as well as England. The primary weapon of the Vikings was the sword. Of a type prevalent in the 9th Century this sword has a carefully hand forged blade of high carbon steel. Guard and pommel are steel. Handle is Ash. Comes complete with scabbard.
