This 1891 bayonet was made for WWII and is in excellent condition. The manufacturers name on the guard is badly stamped and is unreadable. The serial number is clear on the opposite side. The blade maintains most of its original blue and has been factory sharpened. The wooden handle is also excellent.
The scabbard is the first pattern leather scabbard, and is also excellent.

Originally adopted for the Carcano Model 1891 rifle, the model 1891 bayonet would be used on various Italian rifles up until the end of the Second World War. The wooden handle is held by 2 rivets There are a number of variations in this model of bayonet and scabbard.
