GDFB Great Helm
Availability: Out of stock
The Great Helm developed through the course of the 13th century. This reconstruction by GDFB is a replica of the Pembroke helmet, made late in the period and dating from around 1300 AD (now in the Burrell Collection Glasgow). This style of helm was often worn in conjunction with a smaller, lighter helmet, the Secret (see GDFB's Secret Helm). Crafted in 14 gauge steel. This helm is fully padded and provides excellent head protection for the weapons-contact reenactor.
