First World War 'Stowasser' Leggings

These Stowasser style leggings were used by all Australian mounted troops during the First World War. These reproductions are made of a high quality, drum-dyed, full grain leather and have been copied from period examples. All rivets are tinned copper, and the buckles are brass. They are available in a number of sizes.

Size Guide

Measuring

When measuring the tape should be firm, but not tight. If you do not have a tape measure, string can also be used. Mark the string where it crosses and then measure between the marked points on a straight ruler. Alternatively, you can print out this paper tape measure. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the larger size.

 

Calf

Your calf measurement should be taken at the fullest part of the calf. The measurement is taken around the leg at this point.
