Leather Water Bottle Carrier
Learn MoreThese leather water bottle carriers were used with the Pattern 1903 bandoleer equipment by Light Horse and other services during the First and Second World Wars. Used with the MkIV, V, VI and VII waterbottles they were issued to both mounted and dismounted services. They consist of a leather cradle with a leather and canvas adjustable shoulder strap.

WE08 Carrier, Water Bottle, 3rd Pattern
Learn MoreThe water bottle carrier underwent seven changes during its service life. The 3rd pattern was introduced in November 1909. This pattern was the first to use a single securing strap that secured with a press stud to the front of the carrier. The one inch securing strap on the rear of the carrier does not have a press stud and passes through a loop and buckle to secure the water bottle to the front of the haversack. Does not include water bottle.

WE08 Carrier, Water Bottle, 6th Pattern
Learn MoreThe water bottle carrier underwent seven changes during its service life. The sixth pattern was introduced in February 1914 and used until the seventh pattern was adopted in June 1921. This pattern does not have the vertical securing strap that allowed the water bottle to be secured to the haversack. The bottle securing strap is secured with a press stud at the front of the carrier. Does not include water bottle.
