Used by the East German Army (NVA) between 1968 and 1991 these backpacks are heavily influenced by 19th century European military backpack designs. Made in a cotton blend material in the "raindrop" (Stricheldruckmuster or Ein Strich/Kein Strich) camouflage, these packs have a waterproof lining and storm flap closure.

Used by the East German Army (NVA) between 1968 and 1991 these backpacks are heavily influenced by 19th century European military backpack designs. Made of a nylon/cotton blend material in the "raindrop" (Stricheldruckmuster or Ein Strich/Kein Strich) camouflage, these packs have a waterproof lining and storm flap closure. Steel hooks on the pack attach to the included nylon suspenders. The pack measures 305mm x 279mm x 127mm. Although unissued these packs have light external soiling as a result of long storage.
