Superbly constructed and beautifully detailed, this precise reproduction of Takeda Shingen's helmet (Kabuto) and mask (Mempo) is constructed by the renowned foundry of Paul Chen. Made of a red finished metal with brass trim, the helmet is decorated with a horse hair plume and a horn spirit head piece. The helmet includes its mask and neck protector, as well as a wooden display stand. This will perfectly fit a collection of Japanese armour or make a great conversation piece.

Takeda Shingen, original name Takeda Harunobu (1 December 1521 - 13 May 1573), was a pre-eminent daimyo (feudal lord) and one of the most-famous military leaders of Japan. He is especially well known for a series of battles (1553 - 64) with the noted warrior Uesugi Kenshin, which are famous in the annals of Japanese history, and are also much celebrated in Japanese drama and folklore.
