Originally adopted for the Carcano Model 1891 rifle, the Model 1891 bayonet would be used on various Italian rifles up until the end of the Second World War. There are a number of variations in this model of bayonet.
This example is marked with a manufacturer's name, 'Rocca', and the date, 1941. The bayonet is in very good condition with minimal wear to the blued finish, or marks to the wood grips. The scabbard is of leather and brass and, like the bayonet, is in very good condition.
