These were made by Lawrance Ordnance. Made in full grain leather with brass closing posts and buckle, these are a good reproduction of the original.
Being in natural hide, these can be stained to any colour.

This bandoleer was for use by mounted infantry Designed to hold 50 rounds of .303-inch ammunition and was widely used by British forces during the South African war 1899-1902 (Boer War).
The ammunition is fitted into separate tubes as the adoption of the 5 round ammunition charger was not until 1904. the leather over flaps were to stop the ammunition falling out while riding a horse.
