Introduced shortly after the Boer War, the Bandoleer Equipment, Pattern 1903 was used by a number of services until the end of the Second World War, despite being made obsolete by the Web Equipment, Pattern 1908, shortly after its introduction.

These pockets have a leather loop attached to the back for sliding them on to the waist belt. A small strap is fitted inside each pocket to secure the front charger after the rear one has been removed.

This reproduction pocket is made from high quality, drum dyed, full grain leather. The buckles and studs are solid brass. The rivets are tin plated copper.
