Details

Introduced in 1939 the Mk.VII Water Bottle differed from the earlier Mk.VI in having a wire loop attached to the neck of the bottle to which the cord for the cork was attached. The bottles were now enamelled green, instead of the blue used since 1888, and the cords for the corks were half the length of those used previously. The cover remained unchanged.
