The Dane Axe developed towards the end of the Viking era and was popular throughout Scandinavia as well as in England, Ireland, and Normandy. These battle axes had a wide thin blade with pronounced horns at both the toe and heel. The haft of the axes varied between 0.9 and 1.2m, although longer examples existed, they are believed to have been ceremonial.
Hanwei's Danish Axe has a forged head with a sharp, tempered edge and a hardwood shaft.
