India introduced a variety of shortened bayonet models during the Second World War. While the Mk.I* bayonets were made by shortening the Pattern 1907 bayonet blade to 12 inches, the Mark II bayonet were produced with a 12 inch blade. As a result the Mark II bayonet had no fuller.
