USA Model 1917 Bayonet (Remington)

Made by Remington this bayonet appears to have seen minimal use and is in very good condition. There are small areas of wear to the blued handle, minor marks on the blade, and some minor marks to the wood grips.

The scabbard has not faired as well as the bayonet and has areas of wear and scratches to the leather portion.

Adopted for use with the Model 1917 rifle (a conversion of the British Pattern 1914 rifle), the Model 1917 bayonet was identical to the British Pattern 1913 bayonet except for the markings.
