The braces, attach were introduced with the belts, waist, special in March 1913 to form a "light order" set, capable of carrying pistol and ammunition as well as a pack if necessary. Designed for Pipers and Range Takers, the "light order" equipment was soon issued to many troops who were not issued a rifle. SOLD IN PAIRS.

The braces, attach were introduced with the belts, waist, special in March 1913 to form a "light order" set, capable of carrying pistol and ammunition as well as a pack if necessary. Designed for Pipers and Range Takers, the "light order" equipment was soon issued to many troops who were not issued a rifle.
The braces, attach are not made in left and right patterns. The one inch diagonal strap can be moved on the traingular buckle to form either a left or right pattern. The braces, attach are sold in pairs.
