This is an original Australian P'08/15 pistol holster made during WWI.
The holster is in excellent condition and comes with an Australian marked brass cleaning rod.

During World War 1, due to the lack of webbing material in Australia, a substitute of the P'08 webbing was made in leather. This became known as P'08/15 equipment. All the components were a close copy of the webbing equipment. This leather equipment was mainly used for training, but some did make it to the front as shown in photographs of the war.
